A new book created from a collection of Mary MacKillop’s letters was launched in Penola on Friday May 31st.
Sister Sheila McCreanor arranged and edited a collection of the saint’s letters from 1866 to 1870 to create ‘Mary MacKillop and her Early Companions’.
Penola’s Marg Muller launched the book at a ceremony in the Mary MacKillop Penola Interpretive Centre. During the launch, Marg read interesting extracts from letters in the book.
Others speakers on the day included Sr Sheila McCreanor, Sr Anne Derwin and Fr Paul Gardiner.
The book is on sale at the gift shop in the Penola Interpretive Centre.
