The 2025 Jubilee Year of Hope
The 2025 Jubilee Year of Hope is a special time for renewal, reflection, and spiritual growth. It offers an opportunity to reconnect with God’s love, mend relationships, and contribute to creating a more just and compassionate world. Through acts of charity, pilgrimages, and the reception of indulgences, the Jubilee encourages spiritual growth while inviting us to live as peacemakers and witnesses to Christ’s love.
Pilgrimage Churches in the Adelaide Archdiocese
During the Jubilee Year of Hope, the Adelaide Archdiocese has designated three sacred sites as pilgrimage churches:
- St Francis Xavier Cathedral, Adelaide, South Australia
- St Joseph’s Church, Penola, South Australia
- Sevenhill Winery and Ignatian Spirituality Centre, Clare Valley, South Australia
Why Participate in a Jubilee Pilgrimage?
Embarking on a pilgrimage is a meaningful way to deepen your faith, embrace reflection, and experience spiritual renewal.
This year could be the perfect time to undertake your pilgrimage and visit the Mary MacKillop Penola Centre alongside the St Joseph’s Church in Penola.
