Discover the Aussie Camino: A Journey to Penola and the Mary MacKillop Centre

The Aussie Camino is a popular pilgrimage that we get asked about frequently. Several companies offer organised Camino group tours, providing a guided experience for those wishing to walk the route. All walks end in Penola, with the Mary MacKillop Penola Centre as the final destination. This is the place where Mary and Fr Julian Tenison Woods shared their dream of helping educate poor, bush children, and it is a wonderful place to gain more insight into this inspiring story. Although we don’t organise any pilgrimages ourselves, we welcome all pilgrims.
