Feast Day of Saint Mary of the Cross MacKillop at Penola on 8 August 2014
Mass was concelebrated by Father Paul Gardiner SJ and Father Peter Fountain PP
in St Joseph’s Church,Penola. It was a children’s Mass arranged by the staff and children of Mary MacKIllop Memorial School.
After Mass many people enjoyed morning tea at the Mary MacKillop Centre and visitors dropped in during the day to share a day of celebration in honour of Australia’s first saint of the Catholic Church.
